Privacy Policy
JMWINC Developers LLC builds software that handles real business data. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do.
Last updated 3 October 2026. Applies to IMS Made Simple, Rift Delver, Word Quest, Number Quest, this website, and the community tips board.
What we collect
Only what is needed to run your account and make the app work: your name, email address, company name, and the business data you enter yourself — inventory items, purchase orders, expense records and the like. For our games, that is limited to a display name, progress and leaderboard scores.
What we explicitly do not collect
- Payment card numbers — card handling is done entirely by Stripe, and we never see the number
- Health information
- GPS or precise location
- Your phone contacts
How your data is protected
- All traffic runs over encrypted HTTPS connections
- Enterprise-grade row-level security isolates each company's data at the database level
- Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form
- We do not sell data to third parties — not now, not as a future business model
How we use it
Account information creates your account and unlocks app features. Business data is synced in real time across your devices and your team. Anonymous crash reports and usage data help us find and fix bugs and improve performance.
We do not profile you and we do not sell your data. The only marketing email we send is to people who ticked the opt-in box themselves when creating a community account — see below — and every one of those messages can be unsubscribed from.
Who else touches it
Only the providers required to run the service, each contractually bound to security standards:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic — AI capabilities for specific features only
- Google AdMob — advertising in our free mobile games, subject to the ad settings on your device
- Google AdSense — advertising on this website. Google may set cookies or read device identifiers to serve and measure ads; you can control this at myadcenter.google.com.
The community tips board
The tips board on this site works differently from our apps, so it gets its own section.
Your account
Reading the board requires nothing at all. To post, you create an account with an email address and a password. We store the email address so you can sign in and so we can contact you about your account. Passwords are hashed by Supabase and are never visible to us.
What you post is public
Every tip is reviewed by a human before it appears. Once approved, the content of your post is public — anyone on the internet can read it, and search engines and AI assistants may index it. Please do not put anything confidential, personal, or belonging to your employer into a post. We do not display your email address on the board.
Moderation and reports
Posts sit in a pending queue until a moderator approves or rejects them. Anyone can report a published post, which sends it back to the queue. We keep the record of a report so moderators can act on it. Moderators are JMWINC Developers staff.
The mailing list
When you create an account you may tick a box to hear from us by email. It is unticked by default, and leaving it unticked costs you nothing — the account works the same either way. We record your choice and the date you made it, so we can show that it was freely given. To withdraw it, email info@jmwinc-developers.com or use the unsubscribe link in any message.
Deleting your board data
Email info@jmwinc-developers.com to have your account, your posts, or both removed. We may retain a rejected or reported post for a reasonable period where it is needed to enforce our rules.
Your control over your data
You can view and update your account information directly in the app's settings. To request a copy of your data, or to have your account and all associated data permanently deleted, email info@jmwinc-developers.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
Residents of the EU, the UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and the CCPA, including access, correction, portability and erasure. Use the same address and tell us which right you are exercising.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects how your data is handled, notify you in the app.
